Guys,

THANK YOU for stepping up and taking charge of your teams.  We really appreciate the help.  Here's a bit of information to help you manage.

CHECKING IN/OUT:  At the 48 hour mark , prior to your game, your team will be sent a notification email asking them to check in or out.  We suggest the next day, you check to see how many and who you have. Also, all team members receive another (though we are against this) notification 2 hours before the game asking them to check in or out.  We have advised all to ignore this and only contact your captain the day of the game by phone, text or email their status changes.

SUBS: If you need subs, you can go to the sublist in LA to find what you need.  We substitute like skill level for like skill level but playoffs are one less than the absent player.  You do not have to match the position of the missing player with your sub, just the skill level, except for goalies.  You do not have to match the position of the missing player with your sub, just the skill level, except for goalies.  You CANNOT replace a C goalie with an A goalie since your A skater is missing, or vice versa.

You can navigate to Teams on the yellow horizontal navigation bar, to obtain the subs you need and at what skill level. When you find a sub player, click on the far right icon under "schedule" for that game and under No Response column, pick either one, two, three sub skater or sub goalie.  Click the green thumbs up icon and in the Notes window, type in the player's name.  Then click Save

VIEWING ATTENDANCE:  It is not the most intuitive system so we built some online Help to assist first time captains and team managers. From the yellow, horizontal navigation bar on our website at http://nahlpgh.org, you will find Help > Team Managers > View Game Attendance and Help > Team Managers > Emailing Subs. Let us know if you have any other questions.

OTHER:  You can also set lines if you want, but mainly check attendance and get subs.  Try to enforce the sixty second shift rule, though it may be a challenge!

LOCKER ROOM BEER DROP:  Lastly, guys have complained that non-drinkers at times drink the payers beer! So below are the guys who did not pay for Locker Room brews as well as who are the captains and ass captains for each team. There are ONLY 15 beers/team!

THANKS AGAIN!  Paul, Scott, Jack
